Is AuthentiKate Really Free?
Yes. Completely free. No hidden costs, no premium tiers, no ads. We've built this exclusively to help people stay safe.
How do I verify if I'm talking to a real celebrity?
Download the AuthentiKate app, search for the person you want to verify, and ask that person for a verification code. If they're a verified person on AuthentiKate, they can provide a valid code for you to verify. If they can't provide a code, we advise you proceed with extreme caution as it might be an impostor.
Does AuthentiKate collect my data?
No. AuthentiKate is 100% anonymous for fans. When you verify someone, that stays between you and them. We don't ask who you are. We don't track what you're doing. We don't collect any data about you. Ever.
What if the celebrity I want to verify isn't on AuthentiKate yet?
Right now we're just launching, so not every public figure is verified yet. Please encourage them to join by tagging us on Instagram @justauthentikate, emailing us at kate@authentikate.com, or by using the in-app feature to request a new personality be added. We'll reach out to them!
Can I use AuthentiKate to verify text messages, DMs, emails, and phone calls?
Yes! AuthentiKate works across all channels. Wherever someone is claiming to be a celebrity, you can and we recommend you that always ask them to verify with you. Just ask for their Kate code and verify it instantly in the app.
What if someone gives me a code but it doesn't work in the app?
If the code doesn't verify, proceed with extreme caution. It could mean the person isn't verified on AuthentiKate, or it could be an invalid code. Either way, we strongly recommend blocking the contact and reporting the account to protect yourself.
If you believe you're actually speaking to the real celebrity and they're just not verified yet, encourage them to join AuthentiKate by reaching out to us at claim@authentikate.com.
Is AuthentiKate available worldwide?
We're launching in select countries initially and expanding from there. Check the app store in your region to see if AuthentiKate is available yet.

Why should I join AuthentiKate?
If people are impersonating you, AuthentiKate gives you the power to protect your fans, family, and community. It's a way to prove you're really you, across all channels, instantly.
How much does it cost?
$120 per account per year ($10/month billed annually). That's it. No hidden fees.
What's included in my verified account?
Secure access to the AuthentiKate Creator App, unlimited verification code generation, the ability to add team members (publicist, manager, etc. at $120/account each), and periodic security reviews to maintain trust.
How does verification work?
You email us at claim@authentikate.com, we guide you through a comprehensive background check process (typically 2-3 business days), and once approved, you receive secure access to the Creator App where you can generate codes.
Can my team be verified too?
Yes! Your publicist, manager, assistant, or anyone on your team can be verified for $120 per account per year. They'll be clearly labeled (e.g., 'Publicist for [Your Name]') so fans know they're talking to your team, not directly to you.
Can I share my account with my team members?
No. For security, transparency, and privacy reasons, all accounts are individual and can never be used by anyone other than the verified account holder. We have a zero tolerance policy for violations of this rule—any account found to be shared will be immediately and permanently deactivated with a prorated refund.
What if I don't have a huge following? Can I still join?
Absolutely. AuthentiKate isn't just for A-list celebrities. If people are impersonating you, whether you're a business leader, athlete, content creator, or local public figure, you also are welcome here.
How do my fans actually use this?
They download the free AuthentiKate app. When someone claims to be you, they ask for a verification code. You generate a code in your Creator App and share it with them. They enter it in the app and instantly see it's really you.
What data do you collect about me?
We collect only what's necessary for verification. Identity documents and contact information are collected directly by our background check provider and never stored by AuthentiKate. We don't keep your documents on file. Your account information is encrypted, securely stored, and never sold or shared with third parties.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you cancel, we'll refund you on a prorated monthly basis for any unused time remaining in your annual subscription.
Why isn't the Creator App available on the App Store or Google Play?
For security. The Creator App is distributed directly to verified accounts only. This prevents unauthorized access and keeps your account and ability to generate verification codes as secure as possible.
I already have a verified checkmark on social media. Isn't that enough?
Social media verification shows you're notable, but it doesn't help fans verify direct messages, texts, emails, or phone calls. AuthentiKate works across all channels and puts verification power directly in your fans' hands.
How long does my verified status last?
Your subscription is valid for one year. However, verification status depends on passing periodic security reviews that we conduct throughout the year. If you don't pass a security review, your account access and ability to generate verification codes will be suspended until the issue is resolved.

Who runs AuthentiKate?
We're Daniel Thomas and Rhys Morgan. Just two regular people who decided to build something to help stop impersonation scams after Rhys's mother-in-law almost lost thousands to a fake influencer account. You can read more about us on our About Page.
Is AuthentiKate affiliated with any social media platforms?
No. We're independent by design. AuthentiKate works across all platforms and channels, not just one.
How do I report a scam or impersonator?
Use the report functionality built into the AuthentiKate app. We'll direct you to the appropriate reporting resources and authorities. At this time, we don't process scam reports in-house, but we want to make sure you have access to the right channels to get help.
